Quality Control Delays!!

I’ve got deposits at two different dealerships, in two different states for Heritage Blue, Land Cruiser trim level, premium package with 20” wheels.

Got a call from both dealerships stating my VIN was “randomly” selected for quality control.

Coincidence? I will not be playing the lottery today…

Our FE was in port (NJ) since 5/14. Earlier today got the text from dealer it was released and ETA was 7/11 -7/16. A few hours later it updated to 6/28 - 7/7.

A quick review of many LC trims within a 100 miles of Boston shows that Toyota estimates delivery of most of them by Mid July and the latest by mid August.. Looks as if the flood gates have opened.

So .. I checked dealer and Toyota smart path and found on both sites the price of my LC trim prem pkg dropped / OF COURSE its the Roof Rack that was dropped.. of all the add on’s they could have omitted.. I wanted that $1440 add more than any adds!! .. But … bright side maybe it’s about to process from Portland Port, still no window sticker -

Got a call from my dealer yesterday offering me an FE arriving in 2 weeks in lieu of continuing to wait for the LC Premium. I declined. I don't think the extra $6k gives me much and I'm the eternal optimist

As of this morning it seems now that every LC at my dealer that was on hold except 1 has dates some time in the next week. Anxiously awaiting a response from my sales guy.

Looks like 2 new LCs will be driving around Hampton Roads soon. Hope Checkered Flag is the first drop off .

Just got my QC release email from my dealer. He said, "Your Land Cruiser just got released from the hold! ETA July 10th." Yay!

My Land Cruiser arrived in Long Beach on Memorial Day, May 27th.

My DFW bound one did as well, salesman said he could still see it on his side. Were you able to get any info from yours?

No he was surprised said was calling there rep. Now the waiting game at least the nov date gone let’s see what the new one is .

Same here late last night was changed from 11/1-11/2 now 6/27-7/1 . Very excited this is the 3rd time cross my fingers again

My FE LC came off quality hold today. My dealer called me. Now expected by August 1. He said it will be on a train in Portland to KC and then by truck to dealership.

Thats the day my LC Premium arrived at the Long Beach port as well. Fingers crossed mine is headed to my dealership as well.

UPDATE! My dealer in Northern CA just emailed my LC was released from the QC hold this morning. ETA 7/2-7/7.
No other info as far as what exactly was the issue(sunroof or software) more to come when! Thanks everyone for “keeping my head in the game” during these trying time

I think I see mine! Kidding, though I do see a couple pearls with 20s. My salesman is out today . Mine still isn't on smartpath but it's actually looking way more hopeful that itll be here before the 4th than I thought

My dealer just texted me and my FE was released from the hold. ETA 6/29-7/6. My dealer is in Richmond, Va FYI
