8” Screen Display Tip for 1958 Owners

Saw an online review in which the narrator said his first move was to change the 8 “ screen display in settings from automatic to always dark. I tried it and it does make a pretty positive difference at least in my opinion.

It makes the 1958 display look decent rather than being the 8” screen in a 12” housing which it actually is. Recommend 1958 owners give it a try.

I did this just because the white screen seemed really bright at night. I didn't think about it in relation to the housing, but it does look better. That said, the size of the screen doesn't bother me at all. It seems fine to me.
