Rails, Steps & Running Board Advice

A friend of mine has the Dissent sliders for his Ineos Grenadier. Easy install, but the top plate is a little wavy and they are a little narrow to step on as you enter and exit the vehicle. Dissent took a LONG time to fulfill this order (maybe 5-6 months?) Based on what I see on his Ineos...

    Meteor/Brown Sugar Touch-up Paint

I tried searching for 4V8, but it didn't come up for me! Sounds like the Meteor Shower people can get a kit now (y). I originally was getting a Meteor Shower LC, but when my wife saw that it could shade brown, she said, "As long as you like it!" Translation is, "You can buy it, but I'll hate...

OEM LC / FE Running Boards on 1958 - Lighting

I took off my running boards yesterday to make it easier to ceramic coat my vehicle. The electrical connection for the lights on the boards was near the middle bracket. I'm wondering if it's tucke up inside your 1958?

POLL: Should we get Ceramic Coating to help...

You need a pressure washer to use a foam cannon (the ones that work on a garden hose don't foam like the ones attached to a pressure washer.) I love my foam cannon, but it's not necessary to get a scratch free wash on a car. I think any good detailer would tell you that utilizing the two bucket...

    Meteor/Brown Sugar Touch-up Paint

Dr. Color Chip makes the best touch-up paint kits on the market. The colors they currently stock are Black, Heritage Blue, Ice Cap, Underground, and Wind Chill Pearl. This is leaps and bounds better than getting the Toyota touch up paint for your LC. Maybe send them an email and ask when they'll...

    Center screen protector….

I purchased the glass screen protector from Amazon. I do NOT recommend this protector because it is just slightly oversize. Since the screen has a very slight ridge around it, the glass will not sit flush along two edges and the glue can't engage the screen. So, it's not a good option. I'm...

    What wax to use

In my experience, applying and maintaining a ceramic coating like Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light (CSL) is way more effective than any wax product on the market. CSL is easy to apply properly and the toughest part is properly preparing the surface. While I'd recommend doing a full paint...

    Inventory Update?

I released a Heritage Blue w/Premium Package and 20" wheels at Pappas Toyota today. It may be available for immediate purchase. I ended up with the same ride from a different dealer yesterday. Salesman is Tim Scanlan --> he's good.

Help me choose wheel - Method 703 vs 705

Bruh. I can't unsee that now! I was thinking I preferred the 705s, but now I'm leaning towards the 703s!

    Westcott Collar Lift shopping

Any issues with the tires rubbing? Other than the lift, did you need to make any other changes to accomodate the 35s? Maybe you could post a pic from the front showing the poke? Thanks for sharing your build!

    Center screen protector….

I received my glass screen protector from Amazon today. The package was bent in shipping and the smaller piece of glass is broken. So, I'm waiting for a replacement from Amazon before installing the protector on the driver display. See pics of glass below. I'll post pics of the installed...

Looking for 2024 Landcruiser Accessories only… No Land cruisers accessories MADE For Models before the 2024 reintroduction!!!

In my Venza, the screen is not glass, but a very, very soft plastic. I found that using a regular microfiber towel (high quality, not a cheapo!) scratched the screen. I was able to buff out most of the scratches with my polisher, but that's a pain in the butt. Even being very careful with my...

ToyotaCare and 5k Oil Change Interval

When I had a Toyota Sienna, I'd take the van in every 5,000 miles for the free oil changes. The dealer had no issue with doing the changes at 5K intervals, but since I was only supposed to get three changes, I started changing my own at 20K.

Let’s see your LandCruisers in scenic locations

Are those steelies on your LC? I'm thinking about getting a set to use when I off-road my LC. Can you share info on your wheel/tire combo with us?

    Quality Control Delays!!

I'd send an email/call Westcott Designs and ask them if the sunroof is still operational with the rack in place. I have no plan for a rack, but I'd be willing to put it on when needed and remove when not in use just to keep using my moonroof.

    Quality Control Delays!!

Westcott Designs have nice sliders around $1500 (999-1799 depending on options) and a nice rack for $1000. The LC comes with a skid plate, but the FE may have an upgraded skid plate. I'd rather have the WD stuff vs. Toyota. Depending on whether you lift the truck with pre-load collars ($500)...

    Quality Control Delays!!

The FE is a nice truck, but I didn't want the sliders/roof rack/wheels on the truck. I'll be adding sliders and another set of wheels for the off-road stuff, so I thought the extra $7K could better spent on after market items than what Toyota was including on the FE. Did I mention that I...

    Quality Control Delays!!

I've been offered (and turned down) multiple FEs in the midwest. So, I think the availability of an FE just depends on your location!

    Quality Control Delays!!

I actually changed my mind on color. I had a Meteor Shower arrive in mid-July while I was not home, but still had not seen the Heritage Blue. I liked the Metor Shower a lot, but once I finally saw the Heritage Blue in late July, I told the dealer to sell it and that I was changing to Heritage...

    Quality Control Delays!!

Thanks for the advice! Yes, my LC is (was?) on rails and is/was due in KC on 27 August. So, I guess they'll just have to let me pester them a little bit!

👋 Welcome to the new Land Cruiser Forum - Please post an introduction thread!

My Heritage Blue LC Premium w/20" wheels is due soon at the dealership. Looking forward to outfitting my rig with sliders, a small lift, and a separate set of 35s for off-roading in Colorado. I'll keep the factory wheels on for most of the year when I'm using my LC as a daily driver in the St...

    Quality Control Delays!!

I'm trying to avoid being an over-eager pest for my dealer, but...two questions I hope someone can help me out with. 1. How often does the information on the Toyota website with tracking information get updated? Is it daily? Once a week? I got the idea during the QC hold that the update only...
