Got a set of BF Goodrich (255/75R17) and waiting for a set or steelies to arrive. I hope I will successfully downsize my wheel size without interfering the brake calipers. I’ll see how it goes. Congrats on the ice cap 1958! Loving mine. Not sure about steelies, but I put 17" alloy wheels on mine and they have 12mm clearance with the calipers - plenty of room. Hope yours works out as well.

Hi kobyneal, I think these plastic pieces are for better aerodynamics and contribute to fuel economy. Front shocks, struts and axles get less splash maybe. If you live in the area uses a lot of salt, they might work In the long run. For me nah I don’t need them
