🛠️ What Have You Done To Your LC250 Today?

Order from the east coast Toyota dealers like Ed Martin Toyota. Much cheaper than west coast like California. I ordered from Grieco Toyota. Part number and cost provided below.

As far as cost to program, could be cheap or expensive, depending if you know someone at your local stealership. One of the best accessory on my LC FE. Absolutely loving it.

Thanks again!

Ordered Victory 4X4 engine and transmission skids. Just going to keep them on the side till I replace the 20" tires and wheels with 18" Toyo AT3's. Figured I get more break in miles first.

To follow up my last post, attached are more photos of my setups.
I have RTT Ikamper mini, but did not have it in these photos. Probably in future ;)
You may notice my ARB awning installed a bit further out from OEM roof rack because RTT edge will sit right above it (Ikamper RTT is 55” wide…wider than roofrack width). The 2 Rhino heavy duty cross bars which laid on top of cross bars of roofrack to give me 1.5” raise for easy install and take off RTT. Also they are the base for ARB awning brackets connected.
Happy Holidays to all and happy Land Cruiser ;)
Please vote “Land Cruiser of The Month” December. Check out this handsome LC at top of waterfalls ;)

Love it, like night and day. It was easy install after I figured out what to do.

On the way too is an upgrade to the front door LED lights.
Where did you get these? I also want to change the floor and door handle illumination lighting to red. Do they sell anything for that?

Today got me some sliders at some local place. Mine's the white one 🤔🤪

Looks great! I don't trust myself drilling into the frame, so I was thinking about having them install their sliders while on a road trip down there. How many shop hours did they charge for?

The holes and bolts should be pre-drilled and already installed in your frame. As easy as removing the row of existing bolts, reusing them to bolt up the new sliders.

I wish that was the case with these Westcott sliders! According to their install video, though, they do require drilling several holes in the frame.

Actually yesterday, but couldn’t get a pic until today (I miss summer daylight hours).

XPEL window tint (Prime XR ceramic)
30% front
70% all other glass to match the measured VLT% on the front
70% XR Plus (multilayer ceramic) on windshield
$1,050 at Diamond Window Tinting in Seattle—they did a great job!

Drill two holes..... not too bad. If I DIY installing them, I think I'd bolt up the rear three and use the hole in the slider as a guide to drill the front hole.

Thanks for posting this, it really helps me out since this is exactly the option I'm weighing up on mine, the alternative being the same but 20% on the fronts only, because I don't drive at night too much and the sun is proper down here. Did you put 70% on the rear gate glass too?

No problem! I did, and visibility out the back is still basically as good as factory.
20% on the front would look a little better than the 30% on mine IMO. You’ll have to check the spec sheets, but I don’t think it’s usually a meaningful jump on heat rejection when stepping up from 30 to 20. It’ll look great either way though!

Ceramic coated the roof and installed Sherpa roof rack. It’s a pretty easy install, lots of bolts and fasteners but very straightforward. Parts are machined well and it’s well made overall. A little added wind noise but expected as much. Pleased so far with my choice of racks.

That looks really nice. It add to the look. This is my Front Runner rack. 3/4 of the roof is stacked slates. so I can walk around on it no problem. I will not be installing on my LC though. To much noise. They do have there purpose though. Very nice

Crawled under the Land Cruiser to install a transmission skid plate and saw that the folks at the port had already removed the factory one and left nothing in its place!!! If you take delivery of a LC with the front skid plate, take a peek underneath and see if they left anything protecting the sway bar disconnect and transmission!

On the up side, this makes putting on the upgrade plate super easy! Glad I caught it now at ~40 miles instead of after a road trip!

That sucks. I would def bring this up to the dealership. Which upgraded skid plate are you going with?

The Toyota one for now. Maybe Victory 4x4 aluminum plates or something similar down the line since they bolt to the frame in the front instead of a plastic trim piece that’s bolted to the radiator like the Toyota one.
