🛠️ What Have You Done To Your LC250 Today?

Today has been productive. I finished the wiring to my CB and distribution blocks. I am waiting on some wire so I can finish pre-wiring my relay/fuse box. Over all I think the wiring turned out really well. I measured all the cable lengths and had a local battery cable company make them for me. I will probably get some liquid electrical tape and put on the CB terminals for more insulation.

I use these on the exposed studs vs the rubber caps.

Looks great

Little interior improvement happening. This is the start, but it's going on all 4 doors, floor pan and rear hatch. Straight replacing the JBL speakers (which don't sound horrible, but are just plastic) with something a little better.

Very nice - what’s that cost to get done? Would like to do it as well.

Material is about $400 for the soundproofing. The speakers replacement are whatever you want to spend, but I'm in just under $1,200 for dash (2), doors (front and back) and tweeters. Will add a new sub if that's not enough. Leaving center speaker alone. Labor depends on whether you do it or have someone do it, but I'm paying a pro $600 to do it. Probably 12 hours of labor.

Did this primarily for the sound deadening aspects. LC is not loud, per se, but it'll be a lot quieter after this.

Awesome excited to hear how it goes.

I love my LC and would love to make it even quieter in the cabin. This is an investment I’d be willing to make depending on feedback on results.

Very interested in outcomes here! (Mostly RE: Deadening, but also speakers tbh!)

Uuuff, not loving those exposed round screw heads...
Just me, not trying to start anything, but I think they give it a kind of “strong” look… with a steel bumper, winch, ditch lights, roof rack, sliders… full build, balls out… I think it’ll all tie in nicely and look mean. Trail weapon.
