LC250
I installed Slee Rock Sliders on my Heritage Blue LC250 last week. The fit and finish of the sliders is excellent. No drilling or modification is required to mount these sliders to the LC. All of the bolts (M10 and M8) use existing weldnuts installed by Toyato on the frame except for two. The remaining two bolts use sticknuts and were very easy to use (the instructions make it quite simple to use the sticknuts!) The instructions were straightforward and easy to follow. I'm going to install the light kit, but I'm working out some details to try and use the Toyota connector that is also used to power the lights on the OEM running boards. If you're thinking about sliders and want something thats both functional and more subtle than the tubular sliders, then these are an outstanding option. Slee has great customer service (thanks Amory!) Slee is also coming out with skid plates soon. Here's some pics of the sliders...

Looks great! I think those are what I've settled on as well, so glad to hear the first-hand experience!

I'm a little curious about the rear section and how it tapers back into the body a bit...is there enough room on the step for kids that aren't always paying the closest attention when exiting the vehicle?

Also would love to hear how you end up addressing the wiring for the light.

The slider is full width where someone steps out of the LC, both front and back. I'm pretty sure the OEM running boards stick out just a little bit more, but it's not a significant difference. It may sound crazy, but I teach everyone that gets in and out of the LC how to enter and exit the vehicle. (Grab the handle inside the LC with your inside hand, step onto the rail with your outside foot, then pull up and step in to the vehicle. Reverse the process to get out. Most people want to put their heels on the step on the way out, but that's a good way to slip off the step. )

I'm hoping to have everything for the light kit figured out this week. I have the OEM connector housing, but I'm working on sourcing the pins. The OEM pins with a wire lead were really, really, obscenely expensive ($30/pin with the wire attached.) The parts guy wasn't particularly helpful. So, I'm looking for the aftermarket version of the OEM pin.

Thanks for the details @uraniumrich ! Have you been able to figure out the wiring? If so, do you have part numbers or any recommendations?

I'm considering Slee and Dissent. Dissent are close enough for me to pick up, but Slee would probably be faster and they have this lighting solution

I haven't wired in the lights yet. In theory, you could use the light kit on any set of sliders if you are willing to drill two holes at each mounting location. The Slee lighting kit is a great low cost option in comparison to something like a Rigid or a Baja Designs kit.

A friend of mine has Dissent sliders on his Grenadier. I think the Slee sliders look quite a bit nicer with the LC250. The fit, finish, and the design of the Slee are just head and shoulders better IMHO. The tapered design of the Slee blends in well with the look of our LC.

Thanks for the detail information. Can you share a picture of those from underneath.

What would you like to see a picture of? The bracket? The LED light?

Here is a link to the Slee Light Kit
Yes, I'd like to see the general structure under the step, too. I tend to believe a rock slider should be flat, so a rock can, you know, slide and not get caught on tubing or bolts. Thanks in advance.

You can see the light bracket attached to the slider in the bottom picture. I've swung it up until I attach the LED light to it.

The Slee sliders look nice but for me I wanted a kickout which I've found really helpful when offroading so I went with the CBI sliders. Mine are slated to be shipped mid-late march. They say 6 weeks on the site but it's actually more like 12 weeks. Wish companies would be more realistic on their lead time estimates. I placed my order Jan 2nd and was hoping I'd be getting them about now to install.

Nothing wrong with that! I had previously planned to go with the Westcott sliders with the kick out, but decided I much preferred the form and function of the Slee sliders for my planned off road adventures. I was on the Slee waitlist before the design was even completed, so I was able to get a set from the first production run.

Love the look of these more than any others I've seen! Unfortunately, I waited too long and they're out of stock now. Anyone know of any resellers that may have a pair?

Send Slee an email and ask them to put you on the list. I waited quite a while, but that was because the sliders were under development. The only reseller that I know who may have a set is Ed Martin Toyota in Indianapolis. Since you're in Ohio, that may work out for you. Eric had ordered 10 sets of the sliders for the dealership.

Talked to Eric and he was willing to part with a set. I'm actually traveling towards Indy later this month for work so will be able to expense the trip to pick up! LOL

Thanks for sharing!

You might consider having Ed Martin install them for you...each one weighs about 65 Lbs. They will fit in the back of your LC, but only after removing them from the shipping crate. Installation requires two people. Installation isn't tough, but there is a learning curve. The instructions from Slee are really good.

I may try to give it a go myself. Still have a few weeks to think that part over.

Slee received the first large production batch today (I believe the first batch was a limited run), and should show up on the website (as available) either tomorrow or Monday. Picking mine up tomorrow, will install this weekend in the crappy weather.
