Greenlane rock sliders

Does anyone know what the “full top deck” option is? Thinking about putting these on my car

Thanks for the pics and sorry for maybe the stupid question but could you explain what the difference is? I’m not seeing anything that pops out when looking at the pics - other than that the hardware looks great!

The deck is the platform to stand on. They offer them without that. Check here for a photo of an example.

Ah thank you - that makes sense.

I checked them out, but I regularly use a Hi-Lift for changing tires or just leveling in camp. I'm on the notify list for White Knuckle. Their sliders served my GX well, so I'll be happy to give them return business if they can get their product out quickly enough.

Question for folks who have installed these. I just unwrapped mine but haven't had a chance to install them yet. Is the driver's side rear plate supposed to have a bend in it? This looks intentional, the powder coat isn't disturbed so I think it was this way when it was powder coated, but the frame looks straight there. ???

I don't know about the bend. In all likelihood, it's from shipping, but remember what these are. Take a rubber mallet or wrap it in rags and get a big wrench and just bend it back straight. These field corrections are normal for items like these.

That looks like shipping damage to me. I ship a lot of large items, like rock sliders, and UPS/FedEx damages them more often than users. You could probably easily straighten it with a vice (the slider will provide a ton of leverage). The biggest risk is that it might damage the powder coat, however, that could be mitigated by wrapping the bracket with a rag. The shipper will have to file a damage claim if you decide to go that route.

The Greenlane folks confirmed it's not supposed to be like that, it's shipping damage. They suggested just mounting it to straighten it, or a vice -- I don't have a vice large enough or in a space where I could put this in it. I think I'll try a rubber mallet first and see how it goes.
