Rock sliders

They are great as sliders but not useful as a step. I have two kids so wanted something that looked good, functioned as a legit slider and could also be used as a step. The Dissent ones met all those needs.
So I'm in the process of ordering a new LC. Trying to decide on sliders and was going to get the stock ones... unfortunately I haven't been able to see any in person so not sure if I like the idea of not being a good step. I came across the Dissent website and like their stuff. That said, it looks like everything is made to order and they have a huge lead time. Was this your experience?

I would highly recommend checking out the rock sliders from CA Tuned Offroad. They are the only ones right now that make their sliders flush to the vehicle, eliminating that gap, have a slight angle and super strong, with both sliders weighing in at about 88 lbs!

I've got these installed now and love them. Very flush with the body and doesn't stick out like a bookshelf

Honestly, all the others out there look identical to me, and not a big fan of the 0deg step slider look...

Would love to have an option like the oem jeep wrangler, where it's just a bar, no steps - very clean

I couldn’t agree with you anymore! What makes them different from any other sliders out in the market is that they are flush to the body and doesn’t stick out and leave a big gap. Also, just a tad bit lighter in overall weight.
