In the Pacific Northwest of the USA, specifically in tbe Gifford Pinchot National Forest in the southern part of the state of Washington.

Is anyone else OCD like me and won't drive their LC in the snow? I absolutely hate rust, so I drive my cruiser only when the roads are dry here in the winter. There is still some salt on the road, but I figure the exposure is much less when it is dry than wet. I have also sprayed my frame with cosmoline to further protect it.

Hard no.

I have the opposite urge. First sign of heavy snow all I want to do is get out on the road and point the LC towards the mountains.

No maโ€™am. I have 6 months of winter. Iโ€™m not about to park a 4wd when I need it most. If it was a convertible sports car perhaps I would but itโ€™s not.

This is a GX 550 but thought some people might like the video of the snow plow attachment.

I never thought I would say this but I now actually like our 1/2 hitch cover better after seeing how he has to remove his at about 3:25 in the video to put in the safety pin. ๐Ÿค”

Thatโ€™s a big no from me. I feel like this vehicle would be pointless if I kept it out of the elements.

(Editing to fix weird quote formatting)

BF Goodrich KO3's - sized up to 275/70/R18 (33's) - Highly recommend, put them on a week after I got my LC last year. 10,000 miles on them already, no issues on rocky trails, sandy beaches, snow/ice, and of COURSE... Pavement haha. They're a tiny bit loud at highway speeds but worth the trade off for a much more capable tire.

I've been able to get 20.5-22 mpg with them on during the Summer, which considering its a heavy tire & oversized, not bad.
