Rear Seats Be Gone !!

Nice design. However, I'm not interested in raising the platform at all and reducing the headspace in the already limited cargo area.

Fair point. Did he have to raise the rear end to get it level with the 2nd row seats folded?

My version in extruded aluminum with seats 1/2 folded, decking isn't installed yet (details on my build thread)

I cut a “notch” out on the rear of my DIY leveling platform to allow me to still access the small rear storage and keep any weight off that particularly flimsy (and weight limit warned) little cargo panel. View attachment 9196

I’m heading to The George to see Sturgil Simpson and Lord Huron.
Going to do my first overnight in the LC.
I made a little platform for the back to even things out. Total cost $70.

Well that works too, but I was thinking about the box with the drawers that will fit in the cargo area with the seats up. I think it's a great idea for storage and you still have basically all your cargo area.
But that's a cool idea what you have there.
Sure is weird not having a pick up anymore but I love this LC and I just got to my thousand miles and now I appreciate it even more because I can drive it the way I like to drive.
