I had a 22 WRX because I really wanted AWD and a manual transmission, and cars with that combination are rare these days. Since the new LC was announced I’d basically decided that was the next vehicle I was getting. I hadn’t planned on getting one so soon, but moving to Colorado changed my priorities and I really wanted something comfortable and rugged to explore the amazing wilderness here with my family. The WRX was a great car, but I have zero regrets getting rid of it. The LC might be my favorite vehicle I’ve owned.

Had a 2006 Subaru Outback with manual transmission- loved that car. I waffled on getting an Outback Wilderness or going for a 4WD vehicle. Poor gas mileage and on-road manners kept me away from 4WD vehicles, but when the new LC came out, and I test drove one, it checked all the boxes (except $$$).

BMW X5 with buttery smooth powerful inline 6 🤤 that was complete garbage offroad, had no adaptive cruise control for its crazy price, lost almost half of its price in 3 years and had terrible seats that made my back hurt after hour of driving 😭🤡 I was so tempted to get ineos grenadier with that b58 engine and 2 solid axles, but but but… LC for the win haha!

I replaced my Golf R, which I sold earlier this year. I still have a Jeep Gladiator that I hope to keep.

I traded in a WRX for my first (2008) FJ Cruiser. I didn’t want anything that wasn’t full time FWD after the WRX.

2016 Outback 3.6R, loved that car. It was time to let it go. Ended up selling it to a remote family that needed to get over the passes in the winter.
Obviously wanted to replace that car with another vehicle that is reliable, get anywhere, and is a great ride.
Success!
