I want to black out my I-FORCE MAX badge, what technique are people using?
I did see a post on here about Plasti-Dip, not sure I want to go that route.

I just peeled mine off on a hot day and used turtle wax to remove the small amount of residue. Took approx 30 seconds.

You get caught doing that in Alabama, you'll need a dentist!

That's exactly why dental floss is the best way to remove it.

Can anyone confirm that they peeled it off without any negative impact on the paint?

I can confirm I took mine off. Small amount of residue I used WD40 to remove that!

Unfortunately when I removed mine there are 5 small scratches that were hidden by the badge. Was through the clear coat to deep to wet sand. Had to order factory touch up. Only damage on the entire vehicle and it to be hidden by the badge. If the touch up doesn’t look good I might plastic dip it and re install or find some other badge to cover it.

I think they put the badge on it just to rub Jeep owners raw for buying a lesser product.

Also, maybe just to piss us off every time we put premium in the tank.

I’ve been pondering that badge. It’s based on the OEM chrome badge from the 80 series. I’ve also considered the OEM version but I’m not sure I want chrome on the new LC.
