I-FORCE MAX Badge

Got rid of mine too. Looks 100x better.

Don't even need the floss. Just let it sit in the sun, then pull off.

I had a similar issue with the yellow micro fiber cloths. I was using one with some acetone to remove some stains from white plastic sign board and the dye transferred onto the plastic and a hint of it remains there forever!

To black it out you will need to remove it.

Get yourself some waxed dental floss, and carefully remove the badge with the dental floss.

Then clean the paint with an adhesive remover like Goof-Off.

Next take your iForceMax badge and chuck it in the trash because itโ€™s an abomination. Or put it in a zip lock baggie if you simply must save it.
Mail it back to Toyota

I removed mine with fishing line as recommended, used goo gone for the residue with grey microfiber towel. It left a shadow almost as if light never touched the paint before they stuck the emblem on. Now I have to decide if I replace it, leave it, or put the badge back on.

Got a good pic?

Put it back on. It will look good for years to come...

Just took mine off today, donโ€™t see any marks left.

Use some high quality glazing compound like 3M and just a microfiber cloth, should buff right out with just hand power.

I would recommend meguiars 105 followed by 205. probably the best stuff that you can get easily in a store.
