HVAC fresh air intake? Need to Deodorize A/C

Hi folks - i need to deodorize my hvac. AC has that sour smell already :/

does anyone know where the fresh air intake is for the hvac? If its under the cowl on the passenger side, does anyone know how to remove the cowl?

These may help.

I'd start with the Cabin filter removal. The PDF for the front wiper motor shows the parts for the cowl.
