Help with damage questions

Jeez!! Hope everyone is OK. That is the main thing. Things could have been much worse given your description of the accident and speeds etc.

My opinion is just my opinion, but I would expect it to be totaled if the side airbags deployed, or if the frame shows any damage. Otherwise, I would expect it could be repaired, but it might take a while for them to source the parts. As per my other post, I’m still waiting on parts to repair a broken rear door window.
And of course, hope all are ok.

Here I am putting a new frame and all airbags in a Jeep that’s not worth no where near what these Land Cruiser are.

Does the damage visible in the photo shown pretty much all of it? Just the one side? I can tell the front bump is a bit jack up.
Sadly no. I hit the concrete barrier at 40mph and I would estimate to be 30 degrees on the driver front. The left front suspension has been bent down. If you look at my truck from the rear it looks like the left front is flat, but the tire is not flat.

You can see the fender damage along with the grooves in the fender where I slid along the barrier. When you look at the front head-on has shifted a couple inches to the passenger side.. The grooves you can see in the sheet metal and plastic fender lip are also present on the driver rear corner.

I do have some aches. Mainly my wrist where the wheel was yanked out of my hand and for some reason my left rib cage.

Sorry to see that. Hope you're ok.

Have LC done its LC thing? i.e. get you home safely? or it was towed to your place?

At this point speculation is a waste of time. You have some injuries, even if they are considered minor please take them seriously.
Back to the vehicle. An adjuster may come to look at the vehicle in your driveway and that’s fine. What to expect; they either write a terrible estimate and you’re going to be like what is this crap! Or they look at all things considered and total it right there.
This is what I would do in the meantime. Start researching auto collision repair shops in a 35 mile radius. I recommend everyone do this, most of us know who the best doctors are and we should know the best “auto doctors” too.
Look at reviews, but keep in mind for every bad review there were probably 100 fantastic repairs made. I like Carwise. Find Auto Body Shops with Real Customer Reviews - Carwise.com . Pick your shop, you have that right. Insurance may want you to go to one of their preferred shops but you do not have to unless you want to. There are some pros and cons to using “their” shop and I can get into that if you want. Once you have made that decision call the shop and do a phone interview, are they happy to talk or are they all asses from the start. Remember to just stay cool and calm while talking and dealing with this. For us in the industry we get yelled at and treated like it’s our fault that all this happened. I always remember and take special care of the cool customers. If the vehicle does get repaired don’t be afraid to show up with doughnuts!
At this point let’s just wait to see where the insurance goes, it’s a process.

Glad you walked away. Regarding injuries, you can have bones fracture in the absence of impact at that exact location. So you might want to get xrays of anything that hurts. My experience anyway. I think I braced so hard pushing on the brake pedal that the jolt cracked bones that were rigidly bracing for impact.

Others have posted here about unavailability of parts to even replace windshields. Getting parts for this repair could be a major hold up.
