Brakes Squeal

I saw a tip on one of these threads apart hitting the parking break button after turning on the vehicle. The red park light will go off and it has drastically reduced the amount of squeal I’ve had in reverse.

That doesn't make sense. The squeal is from the front brakes and the parking brake is only on the rear axle.

I’ve got no clue. Give it a try. Just stating my observation. Seems to have worked for him as well. It didn’t go away. But it’s definitely shortened the sequels.

I took my vehicle in today. I went out with the foreman, and the brakes squealed after a short effort to replicate the noise.

They're going to research the problem and open a case with Toyota.

Had my LC FE since beginning of July - mileage at almost 5K. No squeaks until the other day but only backing out of the garage after it sat for a while.. I hadn't just washed it and it wasn't humid.

not sure whats up, but my brakes haven't squealed in a while now. I have 3500 miles on it. I did tow my 4K lb trailer recently and maybe I worked the brakes in pretty hard which resolved it. I dont know.... weird
