Best 2 bike rack with a receiver pin that works?

I’ve had both Kuat and OneUp and I Definitely prefer the OneUp mainly for ease of use and its way lighter than the Kuat if you remove the rack often which is nice! NOTE: It may be hard to spot but I thought I was clever setting up a back hatch door stop on the one up rack! I used an old piece from a flat screen TV mount and it works well hitting the license plate before hitting any part of the rack when the rack is not in use and not loaded! Kinda important since the tailgate button is right next to the gas button.

1Up standard (2 trays) here, it's way more solid (offroad) than the Kuat NV I used for years, though Kuat does make good racks. It also slopes upward a bit and drags less.

I had this one (4 bike model, they also have a 2 bike model) on a 4Runner I used to have. It was amazing. Their support was also amazing - I spotted a small crack in a weld at the hitch and they sent me an entire new rack free of charge. The new one worked flawlessly, hauling 4 bikes from PA to ME and PA to FL several times, plus shorter local trips.

I have had both Kuat and 1up. I love the customer service of Kuat, it's seriously one of the best companies I've ever dealt with. Broke a part? Call them, they'll send it to you likely at no charge. Great build quality, great rack. It doesn't fade, and has very few if any sharp edges. I do not like how the front tire holder can rub against MTB forks.

Having said that, I prefer the 1up if you offroad as it slopes up instead of straight back and I LOVE the way it folds for storage, plus it will not rub the forks. It does have sharp edges, channels that hold water, and it will fade if left outside or in the sun for extended periods.

Both hold their resale value very well.

If you really want to go down the rabbit hole, the founder of 1up started a new company that improved upon the 1up, albeit at a cost.

I currently own 4 1up trays for my truck, a 1up 2 tray hitch rack, and (2) grip ski racks. Previously owned a Kuat NV 2.0 4 spot hitch rack which I really liked.

Planning on getting a 1up the other option I'd suggest would be Kuat. I currently have a Hollywood but it's bulky and puts pressure on my bike frame vs the other 2 that put all the pressure on tires and wheels. Plus they include a long hitch pin with your vehicle, either in the glove box or the storage in back. I purchased a locking one years ago that is long enough.
+1 on the Kuat.
