Hey guys. I’ve had my first edition for 3 weeks. And I use the hell out of it. So here’s my opinion based off my situation. No kids. Not towing anything with it ever. Horizontal directional drilling foreman with a CDL.

I hadn’t planned on spending that much, but I loved the first edition so much that I was like “yup” that’s what I’m getting in a 5 minute period. I’m big on interiors since that’s where you are all the time. Sounds stupid and obvious. But it’s like enjoying where you live. Because life is where you live 😂. Northern Virginia to Colorado 9 years ago :)

Power - I barely touch the gas in eco mode including elevation gaining mountain trips in Colorado. I very very rarely go over 2600 rpm’s. So let’s calm down with the turbo abuse comments.

Comfort- it’s so comfortable that my quality of life is better and I can drive farther than usual without feeling sore/tired.

MPG- it’s where it should be. It will go up over time for sure. Give it a 1k-2k miles at least before you call someone (I called 😂). 22-23 hwy with 10 ply 275/70/18 Toyo open countrys.

Reliablitly - it’s under warranty. use it. It’s just a truck. It’ll be ok 👍. We won’t know for awhile. Don’t lose sleep over it.

Looks - it is a beautiful sexy box

Cons-
wind - the obnoxiously windy days you will get a little pushed around. I’m talking 65 mph gusts plus. But not really surprising. Its a box, not a sports car slammed to the ground

Size(kinda) - im 6’ and I almost thought it was a hair smaller than I expected behind the wheel. Then I realized the telescopic wheel was way out. It’s big enough with some room to spare. All I’m asked in public is “is it underpowered?” and “third row?”. If you have more than 1 kid maybe think about something bigger.

Gas tank - yes I wish the gas tank was a little larger. But it doesn’t matter. It’s not like I don’t have to pee every 100-150 miles anyway. Or am I going to go off the grid for 300 miles.

I hope you guys are enjoying yours or get them delivered soon. Just wanted to ease some minds.

Take care

Can you post a pic? Did you upsize the spare too? Thinking of switching from the stock to 275s in the 10ply Toyo

Did not upsize the spare. Sorry for crappy garage photos. I love the size and the tire so far

I like mine more and more as I drive it. It just makes me happy and I haven’t taken it off road or done anything rugged. Drives great, looks great, hoping to have it for a decade.

I feel the same exact way. You have my favorite color. Glad you’re enjoying it!

Almost there with ya approaching 1800 miles myself and agree with all you’ve said. Took mine on an 8 hour drive to Sarasota a couple weeks ago and performed better than I expected!

Approaching two-months and 1,500 miles with ours. It's been smooth sailing and performing great. Fuel economy has improved as the engine has worn in, but it's still less than I would have hoped for. Aside from that we have zero complaints with ours. Looking forward to seeing more of these out on the road soon.

What mpg are you getting?

Using premium fuel, overall is sitting at 19.32 mpg – highest I've seen the onboard trip computer read out was 23.5 mpg
Thanks… my q5 gets me 16.5-17 mpg on average. So for me getting close to 20 while getting a bigger car is a win.

If I could average around 21-22 I’d say it’s a huge success, 19-20 I’d take as win, 17-18 we call it a push.

yeah I get it. It’s a hair off for sure. I bought it because i feel likes it’s a good balance. Hope I see more too!

We are at 1,000 miles with our FE and feel the same. Great Vermont truck, so nice my wife hardly lets me use it….,
Haha. My girlfriend could care less about cars and likes it as well. Damn that’s a long drive but nice to have a comfortable truck to do it in
