Highest trims are looking similar in MSRP to LCLC w/Premium... which also happens to be the highest trim LC for 2025.

IMO the hybrid TRD-OR (non premium) seems like a nice sweet spot.

Iโ€™m wondering if they have castrated the trd off road by deleting rear diff lock, mts, and crawl???

From what I recall, every TRD trim + Trailhunter has the rear locking diff.

Curious to see spec difference between the trail hunter and the TRD Pro

Iโ€™m aware but I saw this ad on fb, just not sure how legitimate it is. Still unable to build on Toyota site.

Pretty interesting how long this release is taking. Itโ€™s December 2024 for a โ€˜25 release.

For the hybrid versions, huge price jump from off-road trim to all other versions. Will be interesting to see difference between hybrid of-road and off road premium. Also interested to see mpg ratings and how similar or different they are to the LC. I originally wanted the 4Runner, but with the delays, I decided to jump to the LC, and am really happy with that decision, particularly with the fairly small price differences.

Im sure the TRD Pro will get dealer adjustments of 10k locally. Our dealers here are thieves....

I'm sure they'll ask but not likely to get a lot of big ADMs for those because GX550/Overtrail, and Sequoia TRD Pro are all positioned above the 4Runner. It's likely sometime later in 2025 there will be a new off road/performance LC250 (GR Sport?) trim as well

I was going to get a TRD OF Prem Hybrid, but once I found out that they are doing the same thing as with the Tacos. Gas first, hybrid second for the TRD OFs, which could mean another year wait.

I don't have regrets on my LC, everyone loves it. My hubby drives mine with a grin on his face. Would I have saved money waiting? Sure, not sure I could have waited that long though.

I plan to check out the 4R for sure before making a final purchase decision. Shopping at the upper end though it appears price wonโ€™t be a determining factor, itโ€™ll be more feel & fit. If I read specs right & just the way they look, the LC is taller? That alone would be a winning factor when you canโ€™t get higher trims without a moonroof nowadays.

Not to be childish, but I wish I could revisit all the FB discussions I was a part of where people insisted the 4Runner would be MUCH cheaper than the LC when it came out, while I believed they would be pretty similar in price. ๐Ÿคฃ

After 10 years of my lovely 5th gen runner. I thought I'd miss it but na the LC 1958 has been superb on and off road. That 6th gen looks ugly, like a taco with a cabin. I guess it's going back to its roots.
The 1958 is the best car I've owned.

Had a 2004 4Runner Sport with V8 that I should have keptโ€ฆgreat vehicle. But not loving the look of the new design, agree Taco married a station wagon is my initial impression. Iโ€™m sure with different trims and some mods they will grow on me. Very happy with the LC so far.

I thought the Platinum trim would be the closest comparison to the LC with premium package. However, it looks like they crippled it by not including the rear locker, detachable sway bar, and MTS.
