1958 folks.. regrets?

It is the button for the rear defogger. Same as on the LC and First Edition. It is in the manual. And I have a 1958 and it definitely has heated mirrors, I’ve used it several times.
good to know, I wasn't aware.

I went from a 2015 Trail 4R to a 2024 1958 LC with a few upgrades. No regrets - I like it a lot better than the 4R with its drive gizmos that I did not need, even in rough terrain.

I've seen several posts mention sway bar disconnects. I had removed both front and rear in my FJ. Not wanting to overextend the air bags, I left the rear in place on my GX, but removed the front. On the previous two, the results were good: the jarring feel of road imperfections did not transfer from one side to the other, and off-road articulation improved, allowing for better traction on obstacles. When the weather allows, I will remove both on the LC and see how it feels.

watch this review...his complain about powertrain is right on.

This car review is a reminder of Luxury vehicle owner folks who drive a Utilitarian type of vehicle do not understand it's use. Also the use of "janky"..... regaring the driveline? he may need to drive the LC with a little less digital style input.

As a 6 ft tall 280lbs human these seats fit me great. I went for a 3hr backroad drive over the weekend just to get break in miles in.

I'd really like it if it did, but the Canadian spec 1958 definitely does not have heated mirrors.

Defoggers are used to defog the rear window and to remove raindrops, dew and frost from the outside rear view mirrors. Press the rear window and outside rear view mirror defoggers switch. When the function is on, the indicator on the switch illuminates. The rear window and rear view mirror defoggers automatically turn off after approximately 60 minutes. However, the rear window and rear view mirror defoggers might automatically turn off after approximately 15 minutes depending on

Would be great if that feature was on Canadian 1958's but alas, it is not equipped. I'd forego the heated windshield wiper de-icer and it's unique dashboard switch for heated mirrors any day of the week.

I haven't had the weather to test it on mine yet, but if it's not in Canada, it doesn't seem like it would be in the US. Unless yours just isn't hooked up for some reason.

There is actually a thread about this very topic started by Founding Member lcq several weeks ago.

A lot of people posted here and state that they don’t have a 1958 and why they chose not to buy one. That isn’t the topic of the thread, hopefully we can keep it on topic.

I am a week into ownership coming from a F150 Raptor which had every option available. The 1958 has everything that I did like in my truck. Heated seats / steering wheel and Apple CarPlay were my two only requirements. I wanted something capable off-road not that I would need it (I have a jeep for that). I didn’t want to pay for options I’d never use like a sunroof. Basic is fine with me and I really like the cloth seats!
