FJ62, then an FJ Cruiser, now a 1958 LC - pretty obvious

I'm a long boarder, so I want to know if anyone has a preference for roof racks on their LC for a big board or even a SUP.

Woh! That's awesome! I'm 71 and bought my 1958, telling myself that it's probably the last car I buy for myself as well! My '89 FJ62 I had for 17 years, and my FJ Cruiser, I've had for the last 18 years...so, if the LC lasts as long as the old 'Cruisers do...that puts me at around 88 years...

Heading down to San Onofre beach tomorrow...gotta sort out some racks soon to carry a couple of longboards on top. I'm not in love with either choice from Toyota. I can get my 9'6" inside, but it's not a pretty fit...but...! I get to show off the new rig to my mates!

I just picked up my 1958. I put 100 miles on it today, mainly driving the Angeles Crest Highway above L.A. Very comfy, cruisey, in sport mode on the twisty mountain roads. It ain't no Lotus Elan around the corners, but it's not designed to be, right? My girl and I totally enjoyed the drive...
