That must be why my HUD is perfectly visible with my polarized Wayfarers as well. I had every glass surface in Miss Daisy tinted with ‘ceramic’ window tint on day two or three of ownership.

The point I was making was, the trucks have the same platform, Lexus has already offered a fix to their owners, and Toyota has done nothing for us, to recognize the problem, and offer a possible fix. It makes me feel like we are second class customers.

Four months later, and nothing..

Yea. I get that. But at my age, there’s not a lot of ‘ruggedness’ left in me. I rather have a quiet ride, and better fuel economy.

I will never use Miss Daisy’s FE roof rack either. And with it contributing to the wind noise, and fuel consumption, I am going to let it go.

Which is why Miss Daisy will lose her FE roof rack, as soon as I get the needed parts to plug the holes. Left by the rack

My ‘12 Subaru Outback 3.6R was great with the Michelin Defenders, but the Michelin Ice-2 (or what ever they were) transformed the car when driving on ice and snow to get up to the slopes.

Miss Daisy does that too.
