It seems the primary thing that keep coming up in main gauge cluster is the P nearing cone icon and message of "system failure. Please see your dealer." I guess this the park distance control which may mean one of the sensors failed or ? I guess it is causing cascading errors as cruise control, lane keeping, lane tracing, adaptive cruise, pre-collision warning, proactive assist and basically any other assistant is dead.

Its kind of annoying as the dash looks like a nuclear reactor melted down.

I don't prefer all these gizmos and their annoying beeping. So....much.....beeping from this car when offroading.

Take it to your nearest convenient auto shop and have the codes read. Can’t really help you till we know.

I can tell you I’ve done some gnarly off-road in mine with not dash lights to speak of. Only time I got a Christmas tree was when I tried to disconnect the swaybar at 19mph. It didn’t like that

You don't get constant beeping from the park assist or whatever when "gnarly" wheeling? I was doing some National Forrest trails any real terrain near the car and all kinds of beeping for proximity and collision warning. I tried to turn it off but maybe I didn't get the right thing. I didn't get the error icons but just constant warnings of proximity etc.

And the g-damn warning constantly reappearing in gauge cluster that stability control is off. For f*cks sake I'm going 3mph in 4lo who gives AF about stability control?

You can disable most of those. I got rid of the proximity and collision stuff right away.

You can turn that all off. The annoying one that I’m not sure if can be disabled is BRAKE!!!!!

Idk about the stability warning stuff in the gauge cluster. Definitely slightly irritating in 4lo but doesn’t block anything important

Why are you folks running aroun on sandy beaches? You computer obviously doesn't like it.
It's not our old analog LC's sadly. I get upset by the green ready light. Why is it there.
If the car started......it doesn't need a ready light. What happens if that light doesn't come on?

I sure hope the vehicle can handle all kinds of scenarios including sandy beaches.

I'd be very interested in your impressions about driving the LC at Assateague, as this is one of my use cases for a LC,
4Runner, or Bronco. What tires are you using?

Maybe you could take a picture or two of the lit up display? And post it for us to see what you are talking about..

I intend to drive on the beach in St. Augustine. This is not the post I wanted to see, but I'm glad I did. Following...

Hold on, youre asking why do off-roading things when we bought a SUV designed for off-roading?

Beach driving is my favorite thing to do, especially at Assateague. I air down to 18psi and turn off traction control and have no issues.

Dont know about the issues that youre having. I just came here to say that I love Assateague this time of the year, when it's nice and cool and empty. Hope to see you there sometime. Enjoy.

Running K03s but I can't see it makes any difference what tires you have on sand. The only thing that matters is reducing tire pressure. I ran 17psi and it was so easy to drive around...really too easy. No challenge. Even crossing the dune uphill on the softer stuff was easy with just maintaining forward momentum. This beach is not like the big dune areas found in other places. Here it is easy to drive around in anything with AWD, a bit of ground clearance, and aired down tires.

I had no issues on the beaches in St Augustine, FL over the weekend. The tide was just going out, so the sand was well-packed. I probably didn't need to air-down at all, but I wanted to test a new compressor. I was running 20 psi on all four Nittos. The deep, soft sand before the packed sand was no challenge, just a fun drive.
