For folks that know more than me about cars - could you add in massage seats after the fact? Guessing it’d be pretty expensive but is it $10k more expensive?
The lack of some of this features is a bit disappointing. I really want massage seats and would love if the passenger seat had lumbar support.
But I also want the durability of the Land Cruiser and less flashy interior as I have a 15 month old, a dog and hoping to have another kid soon. The...
Yeah I’m not an off-roader but live an active outdoor lifestyle- surfing, hiking, mountain biking, etc. have a dog and 1 young kid (15 months) with another coming in a year or so.
I’m also a fairly successful business man and like luxury items too.
I do feel the LC fits the lifestyle the best...
These are all good points…. Just rolled up to gym and saw a gx parked and man it looks really good in person. The engine issues def give me pause. I really like the idea of a hybrid too.
Curious why folks decided to go with LC250 vs the Gx550 or other cars?
I have both an lc250 LC trim w/ premium package reserved and an gx550 luxury reserved - both at msrp. LC is on qc hold and gx is supposed to get there in 1 month.
When I compare the vehicles I like the looks of the LC...
May be interested… waiting until I know that I got my car before buying though (mines on QC hold). Also, Did you get a LC trim? If so post some pics bc I haven’t seen many real world photos of LC trim with rectangle lights!
Based off what I’ve read, it doesn’t sound like any cars are getting processed / delivered to dealers that weren’t already on the lot except for 1958s…. Does anybody understand the situation to be different? Just curious if everyone is in same boat (sans 1958) or if it’s just certain units that...
I was getting impatient and was checking out the GX. Contacted a few dealers and found one near Los Angeles getting a luxury trim on a few days. Guy said I could put down a $2k refundable deposit for it.
Asked him how much he was marking up and he said $5k but it was for accessories that I...
If you want all the items that come on the FE (round lights, roof rack, rock rails, etc.) then it’s hard to say it’s a bad call to get it. I had one reserved but swapped to a LC trim w/ prem bc I’m not much of an off roader. Would have had to pay to swap out the rock rails for a running board (I...
Agree that LC is more of a high end family / refined adventure car vs the 4Runner which is targeted towards actual off roaders & younger or more aggressive looks desiring crowd.
Does anyone know what lane change assist is? Is that similar to what BMW/tesla have where when cruise control is on you can click the blinker and the car will change lanes for you?
Any idea on what’s going on with the QC? Mines on hold now and hoping to get it soon! Interesting to see you all are still selling units - I was under impression everything was on hold.
I also took a strong look at the gmc/chevy duramax options in their suv and trucks. Based off my rudimentary review it was 50/50 of no issues or non-stop issues.
One of my main attractions to the LC is the (hopefully) amazing Toyota reliability.
From what I’ve seen around souther California, the 1958s all have delivery dates and my dealer said he even had one to sell. The LC and FE seem to have been impacted by the QC. Checking with my dealer now on any updates, will report back:
Thanks - mistake on my part I edited. Leg room is significantly worse (~10 inches) in both rows.
Based on sitting in both cars I didn’t feel that to be the case, so curious if there’s an error online.
curious for folks who have taken delivery if they feel that the dimensions listed online are correct.
my wife has a 2017 rav4 hybrid and based on the dimensions listed online the LC has:
Slightly worse headroom in front and second row
Slightly better shoulder room in front and second row...
