Yea just complicates things. Looks like I have to keep the JBL amp and get the audio from there and use a Fix 86 $499 to clear up the audio signals from the lacking jbl amp so I can basically keep the faders operational on the Head Unit. Then from the Fix 86 I send the signals to the aftermarket...
I dont know if you still need this but maybe this.

I wanted to drill a hole in this one and have sub control
The always on is under the reading light panel on top of the rear mirror. If you do go that route make sure you pop it open from the windshield side. I did mine and ended up breaking the tabs. The always on stays on 2-3 days even with the low battery shutoff switch because some how the car...
I have no idea how you managed to pull off just the top portion—I could only remove the whole thing. I even just tried the way you described opening only the top, but no luck.
I learned something disappointing while wiring the DSP to the head unit (HU). It turns out the HU only provides one front channel output, and the rear channel wires give no output at all. I’m not sure how the faders work if it’s only one front channel. My guess is that the amp somehow manages...
I'm betting that only two wires go to the subwoofer, and the other two connect to the hatch speakers. I’m not sure which two yet—I’ll need to take apart the hatch to confirm when I install the aftermarket amp. Right now, I've swapped out the dash and door speakers and plan to add the DSR1 DSP...
So finally available. I am wanting to place an order for SCS F5 matte gunmetal. Just want to make sure these will fit and are hub centric. Can someone confirm all this is proper sizing?
17 x 8.5
6 x 139.7
5.50"/+20
95.1
21.5 lb
So there are 4. Did you figure out If the two goes into the sub are full range and the the other two come out are crossed over to the other speakers. When replacing the sub for me I am planning on ignoring those extra hatch speakers since I don't really think they are needed.
If you're adding an amp or new speakers, it might be best to remove the Beat-Sonic, which is what I’m planning to do. The Beat-Sonic improves the stock system by cleaning up the sound before sending it to the amp, but it’s not really an amp itself even though it say it is. Instead, it just...
actually I don't know if that's a amp or dsp, Doesn't look like a amp it feels like a smooth plastic box. I wish I could take a picture but it's so tight in there. I did finished sound deadening my doors :) its my first time and I don't know if I over did it.
It’s so tight under the seat but seems like you can fit an amp in there since factory amp is not connected to the movement of the seat. rerouting a bypass to the trunk area could another way. Sonic has bypass harnesses but I dont know if it will throw code...
I think it's under the front seat I am going to try to bypass it and install a Aftermarket amp with DSP. I am hoping it's the same as the tacoma harness-wise. Even with the beat sonic I need some type of DSP because audio is too bright for me and not im not getting the tune I want. It's miles...
Found out its does have an adapter harness on Amazon Amazon.com. Just make sure if anybody is changing tweeters to install a crossover after the harness since full range signals is coming out. I did a little investigating played music on that corner only and found that the door speaker didn't...
Toyota’s app has a digital key feature, allowing you to use your phone as a key, just like the key fob with proximity functionality. The only thing I don’t like is that there is no way to power open the liftgate; it can only unlock it. ALSO THE APP IS SLIGHTLY BUGGY AND HAS IMPROVED SINCE LAST...
A simple thing that my Tesla had I always used was a PIN code to drive mainly had this to prevent car jacking even if I hand over my keys and run away. Doors unlock the same but to actually drive you need the PIN code. I don't know why car companies have not implement this. I Use my phone only...
Thank you so much for all the help! That information was incredibly useful. I had a quick question—are you using a crossover, or is the incoming signal already filtered? Also, do you think it’s possible to add a DSP between the Beat Sonic amp and the factory head unit? Right now, the head unit's...
So to confirm I was able to install 4" Ref 4032cfx int the front L/R Dash and 3.5 inch in the center because the 4" didn't fit there. I heard some people were not able to fit it in the L/R with 4 inch. It actually fits flush for me.
You have the 14 JBL system right? Are you going to replace the A pillar tweeters. I don know how they are wired since I might get components for the door and route the crossover wire to the tweeter. Share pictures if you are going to replace that would love to know how the wiring is. Also the...
