We in the UK have the price uplift and it’s a pain not driving before buying and not knowing when it’s arriving and insurance and and and …. But could be worse - the grenadier folk have production on hold due to the recaro seat issue with the supplier in financial trouble and the vehicle type...

I’m supposed to be 18/10 at dealer but I guess we will find out when we find out - mid Oct morphing into 18/10 has been quite consistent for me

What do you guys think about the cooler box tray some folk in the US have created to sit in the top of the central cubby under the arm rest ? I have the tray in my L322 and it’s great for keys and other stuff so quite fancy one Does anyone use a 3D printer ? Might be good to produce a run...

It’s on the options list withJLR - presumably Toyota Insurance didn’t raise it as an issue

Does the FE come with a tracker ? It’s obviously a question asked by insurers and with other vehicles I have known the spec in detail - with the LC FE I have no idea what it has - any ideas guys

Just rechecked and the 250 is still not showing online so suspect we will remain in the position of needing to get one off quotes as you have done Will let you guys who are getting cars in the next week or so address coverage first - hopefully it will cause them to resolve the issues

Bloody hell - I started this thread weeks ago and you solved one of my issues in your first post - well done - I am also with admiral and have been struggling with them and with Toyota trying to achieve exactly what you seem to have managed - getting underwriters to focus in this issue and make...

Should have mine on current projections in around 3 weeks time - supposedly at dealer Fri 18 Oct so as away shooting that weekend looking to collect in the following week - hopefully the UK 2.8L diesel powered variant will make us all happy - Dave seems to be the first in line to collect one

Sad admission - I watched that YouTube with the guy doing a factory visit - I have been to a few car factories in different countries inc super car places in Italy - the Tahara was impressive but they didn’t show the other places to offer a comparison - long way from the smoking area in the...

Does everyone that has a VIN number have a K as 11th character meaning as I understand it that the LC was built in the Hino Motors plant in Hamura - not had a Toyota but other folk seem to get excited about the Tahara factory that seems to have the top reputation for quality As long as it is...

My dealer is saying once the vehicle is on the way they can order stuff so I am likely to get a set of rubber mats - don’t want muddy boots from a shoot messing up carpet and rubber mats just feel right Anyone having theirs ceramic coated - tempted - doesn’t seem like there is any scope to...

Dave are you buying from a dealer in the “Severn Valley” as a VK is a plate from that region - if you are not it suggests they are registered at port of entry in Bristol

Just rechecked with admiral (who use that awful online system for vehicle change quotes) and there is still no 2024 Landcruiser 250 showing whether FE or invincible (however spelt) on their drop down Hopefully those getting UK delivery before me will be able to push forward the insurance...

That’s great to see the spec - seems pretty clear now the 2 models are vertically identical - different lights, colours, wheel size and few trim differences but fundamentally they are the same and £5k seems to buy you almost nothing at all that “represents value” in hard terms - I’m happy as...

    The UK Order thead

I am being told delivery of my Sand FE on 18/10 Looking across both UK strings on this forum it seems we have maybe 6 FEs ordered by people posting and 2 folk trying to get Invincibles - not sure about Toyoda order status or other people’s delivery dates Dave Blue FE - 27/09 KevD FE - 09/10...

You have to do what feels right for you - I was messed around by JLR and cancelled a new RR order before ordering the LC - it’s not easy to achieve that new car excitement when ordering ahead of time rather than buying a physical car in a show room and driving it out - the motor manufacturers...

Toyota GB not able to match my order No to their records so say they will speak with dealer and come back to me - not great They also are escalating the insurance issue Have any of you got insurers that have confirmed they will insure the 2024 Landcruiser 250 FE ? My checks with both Admiral...

Thank you for posting the Tno of Toyota GB - will try them on Monday / my dealer is lovely but does not appear to have as much info on this process as I do through this forum - they really do seem to be operating like a modern shoe store with people employed to bring boxes from store for you to...

Quick geeky question - looking at a few YouTube reviews of UK/EU models not US - am I right the volume button is not on the side of the central screen behind the wheel That seems to be a location that annoys or American friends Seems to be moved to the button array that deals with seat and...

You are right “An electrified version that combines the same 2.8-litre turbo diesel engine with 48V mild hybrid technology will be available in early 2025.” [Toyota GB] So not the same power plant they have released in the US - I rather expected them to limit the number of engines being...

You are the only one posting - maybe others have dropped in to take a look - I really have no visibility about the order numbers - we calculated that there were maybe 250-300 LC FEs coming to the UK in 2024 but as I had understood it the Invincible was unlimited in production and the only issue...
