A wheel that is out of balance will present at a certain speed and not at others, if you feel a slight shake in the steering wheel more than likely the front tires, if you feel it in the seat generally its the rear tires. At least that's my experience.

Driving around town, normal mode, 50 degrees, 45 min of driving got the tranny temp to 180 degrees.

I think the water pump is the only thing that is belt driven, the fan and A/C are electric, and of course no alternator. At least from what I have read, which could be wrong.

Its never been on, double checked.

I too find the fan puts out cool air without the AC engaged, more so than any other Toyota I've owned.

I used the scan gauge on a 30 min trail ride with moderate inclines in 4LO and only got the transmission to 165 degrees, however it is only in the high 40s outside. I did compare the transmission oil pan via IR gun and it registered 140 degrees at its hottest point, so I'm thinking sensor #1 may...

I have a scanguage as well, if you will share the code you used to input sensor #1, I'll do the same and run a few of the trails here and report back.

I can't say I've experienced high transmission temps by looking at the gauge but 250 seems high, what did you use to measure these temps?

It does seem like good practice to do an early break-in oil change rather than waiting 10K miles. Seems odd Toyota wouldn't make this recommendation in the owner's manual.

Would you describe this as engine ping/knock while under load? If so do you use premium fuel or regular octane?

That leak might be axle seal related, definitely not normal.

I think your correct, the fluid would more than likely be for the clutch. The next time I'm at the dealer I'll be interested in what the tech has to say.

I had a look see in the maintenance schedule/ warranty pamphlet without any luck. Are you seeing it anywhere?

At the bottom of the electric motor housing there seems to be a small oil pan with the ability to drain and refill, does anybody have any insight as what type of fluid/ how often it should be serviced info? The video below mentions it at the 20:50 mark (K0 clutch and electric motor).

What mileage were you at when you changed yours? Waiting for my results hoping I hear the same. Thanks

I've been doing everything you have and netting 23 with town/highway 50/50 with 1100 miles. This is with a rack and rock sliders with hand calculating after every fill-up.

I try and live by a "half tank is an empty tank", now if I can just get my other half to do the same. Keeping the fuel pump submerged will help keep it cool and happy.

Sorry I don't think I was clear. In the event one of the LED lights burns out what is the fix, unlike changing the bulb in a conventional headlight I guess you would need to swap the entire assembly? I think I answered my question, just looking to confirm.
