I think you might want to use the 0% on the windshield.I'm new to Ceramic tint... never heard of it until this Forum. Sounds great! So much better than the old stuff.
I have a shop near by that sales Evolve Premium Ceramic Tint.
I saw on their web site that they have 90% and Clear. They say (on their site) both will block 94% of infrared heat and provide 99% or greater UV protection even though they are clear? I was thinking 90% for the front windshield? And matching the side windows with the tint already on the back. Is this true?
Other way around, 0% tint would let 0% of light to pass through your window.I think you might want to use the 0% on the windshield.
I stand corrected. The Clear on the web site has no tint and the 90% is close to clear

Can you be more specific as to what NC doesn’t allow?pretty jealous of you guys that live in state’s that don’t force a car inspection every year like North Carolina. Very limited here on what I can do when window tinting to pass inspection.
I put 50% on my windshield and it did not affect it.Does anyone know how the ceramic heat rejecting tint affects the heads up display on windshield?
Anything 32% or less is "illegal" or non passable. Unless you know a guyCan you be more specific as to what NC doesn’t allow?
What type of tint, % etc did you use for the windshield? Thanks !Currently have my windshield tinted, is absolutely the best when driving into the sun, cuts the glare and heat dramatically.

I thought about doing the windshield but I passed because of the frequent cracking of it.Windshield tint is the best. Did it day 2 of getting the car (one of the first things I do with any car) It is a 70% ceramic tint, it is clear and will pass inspection.
I hold the receipt and insurance covers the re-tint when replacing windshieldI thought about doing the windshield but I passed because of the frequent cracking of it.
I did all the other windows but I thought if the windshield cracks once every year or so which is likely I'll have to keep on retinting the front windshield. Which is very expensive
Do you pay a deductible?I hold the receipt and insurance covers the re-tint when replacing windshield
Not for window replacement. (But sure pay a lot per month)Do you pay a deductible?
