🛠️ What Have You Done To Your LC250 Today?

I have a 1958 as well and it worked great. I got this one off amazon. It’s not as perfect a fit as I would like, but for the price it’s fine. When you watch installs on YT make sure you add a few extra fucks and WTFs.
Good to know, and always do man! I’ll do a full suspension swap in my driveway in a day, but swapping a light out will take me 2 days lol

Successfully tested and added a replacement driver’s side panel in the 1958 with soft touch from the premium trim level. Feels so much better with the soft touch surfaces, I didn’t think I actually needed it until I drove with this as opposed to the pure plastic trim on the door that I had. Part number is 67620-6AC70-21 and is in black. I think it was a 20 minute swap out, once you get past the fear of tearing apart your LC, it goes pretty quickly. One thing of note, the pull lever to open the door is in brushed chrome or something like that and the 1958 handles are black. So while I was “probably” going to do all four doors for consistency purposes, now it’s certain that I will.
How hard was it to remove the panel, I’m thinking about updating speakers eventually. Thanks

I had that one and I swapped it out for one I got from Obsian 3D. It’s multi colored and has a physical on/off switch.

Quite easy, I watched a couple of videos, one about removing the panel for a speaker upgrade and one that dealt only with panel removal. Couple of views of those videos and the removal is exactly the way you envision it.

These are what I watched to prep. Both are good references for removing the panel.

One thing to note on the new panels, they come with tabs already attached. So if there are left over in the door after removing the panel, you can take those out and discard them since the new panel is prepped for install. Also, you will have to remove the control section on the old panel with the window and mirror controls and snap that back into the new panel. It’s quite easy and just attaches with clips. When I get the next panel I’ll take more in depth photos.

Installed my front & rear VIOFO dash cameras. Front is easy with the Dongar adapter and I used some fancy magnets to hold it. I haven’t reviewed the rear cam footage while driving but I’m told it’s stable from Gio.

Rear was an idea from Gio R. @

Here’s some pictures but it’s pretty sunny here in Albuquerque today so ya get what ya get.

I’d love the 3D print from @Mopac51

Ceiling (aluminum) molle panel. Low profile with zero view obstruction from rear mirror. Can be setup with additional lights, ceiling/cargo storage net, First Aid, fire extinguisher, etc.

Thanks a member here giving me the link of Amazon to order it that I did look for awhile ago.

What are Japanese blue version?
I believe this is what they are talking about.

“The mirror surface is treated with hydrophilicity to improve visibility. The hydrophilicity is restored by sunlight and the self-healing effect is sustained.”

I remember this being a thing with my Subaru back in the day. Not my eBay account, no affiliation!

I killed my 12v battery… I wrapped my roof this weekend… another post for another day when I get pictures… I had my doors open a lot for 2 days. I went to start the truck to move it and I got a digital display light show/freakout. Not cool at all. I tried a few combos of locking and unlocking and turning on and off. No luck. Lift gate didn’t open, so I climbed in the back and took a voltage reading of the battery and I was down to 7v. I had a jump pack and “jumped” my hybrid truck. Not loving that but glad it happened in my garage and not off grid. I have a plethora of CELs and warnings I’ll address with the dealer tomorrow but I can drive the truck. I’ll post back with what the dealer saw and had to do.

Happened to me few times! Left LC door opened, headlights and frog lights set automatic…while working on my trunk (nothing relates to electrical or so)…then battery went dead. Used jump start to save it.
Now, every time I work on my LC with doors opened, I have to turn off all headlights + frog lights to avoid of that!

Always carry jump start as part of the emergency stuffs in my LC

I did the same thing and the warnings cleared after driving for a bit, didn't end up taking it to the dealer
