🛠️ What Have You Done To Your LC250 Today?

Not today, but yesterday I installed Sherpa’s Atlas rack. The product is great, and I can heartily say that Sherpa is an amazing company when it comes to customer service: both pre-sale and after-sale. They are fantastic.

Pics from today. Sorry it’s a bit hard to see on the snow; Wy’East is getting POW this weekend!

So did I! Installed the Sherpa Atlas rack. I did it by myself, took a while (~4 hours) but I managed using the video and the PDF install instructions. I'll report back if I hear any road noise or other issues but after reading reviews of what was available and the positives on this one, I went for it.

I wonder how much wind noise that thing makes? 🤔 Compared to the First Edition roof rack..

Was not all today but…
Tundra TRD BBS wheels and tires are on.
Westcott leveling kit ( front only), the front only raises about 1.5” so it sits nice and even now.
I pulled the front end apart and painted the “skid” plate and end caps, I prefer the painted look of the higher trims.
Added ZR Overland recovery points, nice solid parts.
So the only thing I’m on the fence about is the center caps, I have the red TRD caps and the Silver TOYOTA caps. Currently running the silver ones but can’t help thinking the red would look great with the red recovery points. I think I have to pull the wheels off to change them, they snap in tight.
How it started a few weeks ago…

Looking great! I would vote for the "TOYOTA" center caps - they look so good with the matching front/rear wordmarks.

Looks great. Did you paint the front bumper end caps or have them painted? And parking sensors?

Please share more pictures. I’ve got the underground LC250 and seriously looking to purchase the machined clear coat method wheels.

If you check out my profile I’ve uploaded quite a few. I have the 0 offset wheels. Unless you really like the poke I would recommend the same wheel but with the +35 offset so they don’t have quite so much poke.

Correct, I’m going for a +35 offset

Installed the Greenlane sliders today. I love that they're aluminum, light, and made very well, and no drilling.

was it easy taking off the OEM steps? Don't have anything to replace them with.. just really don't like the look of the OEMs

Would you mind sharing the model number of that roof box? Exactly what I'm looking for, so I can carry a kayak next to it...

Really easy, 6 bolts and one plug on each side. The middle top bolt hole has a slot so you can take out all the rest, loosen that one and it will hand there on it so you can take it off, then take out the last bolt. I too liked the look better without it! But then I ruined it by installing sliders.

It’s a really old box so have no idea the model number. It’s a Yakima Space Saver. Doubtful that it’s still in production. I jumped on it because I wanted something long but narrow so that I could carry skis but have room left on the rack.

Lubricated propeller shafts:
Front: slide and both U-joints
Rear: both U-joints
