On a closer look it might be just bolt on. I missed the pop in hood mounts.I hope not. In their description they say it is bolt in and only requires simple hand tools. Fingers crossed!

Yea.. but when I searched Summit Racing’s website, that is what they said fit the 2024 LC”s. They were wrong. The "fit" description indicates 1963 - 1982 models supported...
I have illegal (in most states) tint including windshield and i just roll all my windows down and open sunroof shade when i interact with police as a courtesy. I would think police are more concerned about the back seat occupant than the front.Exactly. Tinted driver window is “my concern” about safety of both driver and LEO when traffic stop, “especially” with your carry (CCW). “Personally” I had never got front windows tinted (even though I know we can get some benefits of it such as shade, privacy, etc.
What brand rims are these? They look really goodawesome! This is what I did.
Pics of all the things please!I’m running the 1958 and I’ve tinted all windows with 15% I believe it was and with a 70% on the windshield… all with whatever the kind is that’s supposed to block heat. Installed front bumper with winch, light bar, and rock lights. I’m running falken wildpeaks 285 70/17. Let’s see here, went through a few upgrades to the center console storage and finally found one I do like. I’ve got wind deflectors on all windows and I’ve got the rago (I think it was) molle storage shelf in the back. There may be a couple small things I’m not remembering, but those are all the “big” mods. I have some raptor light style lights, and the fog light upgrades on the way. The only thing I have left is the roof rack… of course I said that 100x with my gen3 Tacoma, but we shall see. If anybody’s got questions of how things are or want pics just reach out!
Yeah.. Pic's or it didn't happen.Post without attached photos is not “completed”

, don’t you know that?
Joke. Actually photos included will be helpful and/or inspire others. All my posts about mods always with photos
Happy LC to you and all
Start your own build page and add a link to your page in your signature block. All right fellas, my mistake, I’ll get out and take some pics and post again!
Looks sharp! All right guys, here’s a few pics, and I put more onto the build page… not sure if my build warrants the same effort of EOD guy, but if anybody wants more, just let me know! Cheers!
I think I did it… not sure thoughLooks sharp!
To add a link to your signature, for your build page:
Navigate to your build page and copy the "URL"

Edit your profile "signature" and paste the "URL" .......... done deal.

It worked. One thing that annoys me about the mobile version of the site is that it hides the signature links though. They only show up on a computer.I think I did it… not sure though
It appears to work!I think I did it… not sure though
Summit Racing contacted me last night via email, and via a phone call (which I didn’t answer since the number wasn’t in my contacts). They left a message, saying that the tech gurus that run their website fixed the glitch in the matrix concerning the wrong hood lifts coming up when I searched using their own search engine.Well, I have been checking the Redline website for forever it seams, for when their hood lifts would be available for MIss Daisy. The website always says out of stock. So I went poking around the Redline website and found a list of dealers. One was Summit Racing, south of Atlanta. I was prepared to drive down and get them, but the Summit website said they would ship directly from Redline.
Went to the Summit Racing website, searched, and found these.. View attachment 26516
Put them in my cart, checked out, and Boom! Free shipping!
So we’ll see if Redline really was out of stock, or were they just trying to steer me to one of their dealers. These were slightly more expensive than the base model $99 ones on the Redline website. These were $119, higher quality than the $99 ones. Even Miss Daisy is excited!
EDIT: DO NOT ORDER THESE from Summit Racing website! Despite using the Sumit Racing parts search, which gave me the above part number, IT IS THE WRONG PART for our LC’s. I called Summit, and they don’t even list the Redline part number 21-27024-02 for our LC’s. The guy at Summit, Ory, is putting in the correct part number for our LC’s into their system, and will get back with me.
More later.
Correct and allows others to jump to your build page to see what else you've done.Awesome! But like Markarian said, it’s a little weird on the mobile version, and honestly I’m not sure what that even does… like it’s just an easy way to jump directly to the build page?
Gotcha, I tried to clean up that original post so it’s easily readable, but it seems I’ve reached my limit of what I can do with one post… so I assume I just add to it with comments?Correct and allows others to jump to your build page to see what else you've done.
You should be able to attach up to 25 pics and the comments are about unlimited.Gotcha, I tried to clean up that original post so it’s easily readable, but it seems I’ve reached my limit of what I can do with one post… so I assume I just add to it with comments?
