🛠️ What Have You Done To Your LC250 Today?

I’m also really interested in the details on the lights. Especially if it’s something I can retrofit onto my Greenlane sliders.
The light kit has an aluminum bracket for each of the LED lights. You may need to drill two holes somewhere on your slider to make the bracket work.

The sliders are on. The quality is top notch. Yes, I bought the light kit (about $100); no, it doesn't plug into the connector for the illuminated running boards. The lights have wire leads that require you to do some minor electrical work (a little work with a solder gun and some heat shrink tubing.) I'm going to see if I can source the plug from Toyota so I can plug in my lights, but Slee does not have that as an option.
If you find the part number for the plug, let me know. If you can find the right pin size, this one should also work, but it would be nice not to have to guess the pin size.

These RCI's look nice.

do they mount to the recovery points or to the radiator bracket?
They mount to the front cross member. I thought it was the radiator bracket until I got down there with everything off and realized that the radiator mount is separated from it by about an inch of black plastic brush. But that front most piece is a relatively thin welded steel cross member.

Installed goose seat deletes. This went smoother than the rear plate, which is surprising since the seat deletes don’t have instructions (not even online).

Was a bit of puzzling it together. I also modified the ‘head board’ to be able to swing up in case I have a passenger that doesn’t want to be crushed up into the dash.View attachment 22779View attachment 22778
Do You care to upload some more pics of that seat delete? I Have a tech installing mine and he is having issues with side plate orientation and exactly how it mounts. Didn’t have any issues with the rear plate

Removed my running boards (step 1 in installing rock sliders).

Question for the 1958 folks: does the underside of your trim piece look like this, or is there some additional trim piece that clips on if you don’t have the running boards? That’s a lot of little pockets to store mud in.

You willing to sell your running boards?

I have the tire swing on my FJ 62 landcruiser and its a pain to open everytime I need to get in the back. I rarely get in the back as a result. That would suck on the new cruiser! I open the trunk constantly. Looks great though.

Drooling over your fleet, friend.. man... so cool

Ordered new wheel setup for the summer to get in front of any tariff-related price increases! OEM wheels have been assigned permanent winter tire duty.

Wheels: TRD flat black wheels (PTR56-35242-F1)
TPMS: 42607-76020
Center caps: Heritage (black): PT998-35221-3S
Tires: going to reuse the OEM tires for a year or two. I put like 200 miles on them before swapping to X-Ice Snow for winter

Really wanted to go with some Method Bead Grip wheels, especially since I get an industry discount, but I’m not willing to do a 17” wheel or < 40 degree offset.

Excited to get these in, they look great on all the photos I’ve seen on here!
