As I wasn’t sure whether the external 7-pin connector would support 20A, I ended up getting the Viair EVC85P, which has a 15A max power draw. It’s not much slower than the 88P and works well for me. It can be powered from the inside 12V port too. (Also got a 7-pin to 12V port adapter.)
