When I go into vehicle settings/TPWS and I select " Setting by Specified Pressure" I get the screen that shows "33" as pressure for front tires. The manual states on page 559-560 that this is user adjustable., but I can get it to change using buttons as usual. See paste of manual instructions below. and pics of screens displayed Anyone figure this out yet? Thanks in advance.

1 Start the hybrid system.

The tire inflation pressure cannot

be set while the vehicle is moving.

2 Select on the multi-

information display.

3 Select “Vehicle Settings”.

4 Select “TPWS Setting”.

5 Select “Tyre Pressure Set-

ting”.

6

Maintenance and care560 6-3. Do-it-yourself maintenance

6 Select “Setting by Specified

Pressure” and then select the

desired front and rear tire

pressures.

7 Select “Yes”.

The tire pressure warning light will

slowly blink 3 times.

After setting the tire inflation pres-

sure, a message indicating that set-

ting has been completed will be

displayed on the multi-information

display.

Why are you changing it? This value is the baseline used to determine if a low pressure warning is triggered. For example, if the actual measured pressure is 28 psi, (33-5) you will probably get the warning.

I’d like to adjust as well for airing down. Considering not using in the summer. The warning was really handy when I got a sidewall tear. Gave me just enough time to find a level spot to change tires.

Have you tried to change the setting and see if it is user definable?
