Toytec leveling kit 9 (or similar) vs. Westcott preload collars vs. NEITHER

From my flat garage floor to the lowest part of the frame. Which is a cross member that the last part of the skid plate is attached to is roughly 14"
Any chance of measuring beneath the lowest part of the front skid plate, under the radiator? This would give an apples:apples comparison of the LC's stock 8.7" ground clearance spec.

For what my 2cents are worth, I'm in agreement with @b407driver when it comes to lift kits. I am waiting for options and keeping it stock until I can find the lift I want for the truck. I'm currently running 275/70R18s on the stock wheels with winter/snow/ice tires and 275/70R18s A/Ts on the TRD Pro +45 offset wheel. I am considering going up to the 285/70R18 tire but I'm not sure how I feel about losing my spare location as a result. I would want all of my tires to be the same size and I know the 275/70R18 fits in that spot. I had the ICON Stage 7 which was the top of the line when I had my 4Runner and the heim joints, while super strong for off road pounding, were a bit of a PITA when it came to daily driving wear and tear. They do not like high speed impacts like pot holes in my experience. It's metal on metal basically and they were a bit of upkeep for a daily driver. Sometimes it's best to be patient, not my strong suite, and spend once, cry once. :ROFLMAO:
