The sexiest and most function brush guard / front bumper

Looked and searched through all for the brush guard / front bumper…I found some (most are just so so stuffs), but here are 2 most functional and sexiest ones I like (as picky taste of designer and off-roader/overlander)

I like the ARB just don't like the wrap around tube to the rock sliders. I am hoping it comes without the tube wrap around which I assume it will.

ARB has had those as options for every bull bar it's ever made for the Land Cruiser, going back to at least the 60 series. But they are just options.

The ARB also has the added benefit of being crash tested.

ARB typically offers the front bumper without the side bars. They are usually add ons.

I’ve had ARB’s on 3 Toyotas. 2 Tacomas and a 4Runner. Never had any problems with them. I’ve got one on the Tacoma I still have now. The only cons I have with ARB are; it is heavy especially with a winch, both my 19 4Runner and 23 Tacoma required trimming plastic body moulding (might not be an issue with the plastic puzzle that is our LC bumper), they have a lot of small parts/panels and the bumper sticks out to the front out a bit more than I like.

The other posters are correct, the side rails are an “extra”.

I was holding out for ARB to release their LC250 bumper but I ordered one from Expedition One. I ordered it as pictured in their advertisement. The installation guide isn’t available yet on their site for you to look into it further. They do say you have to do some plastic cutting if you’re adding a winch. They have a chat text function on their web site and I was very satisfied with our discussion.

Both companies make good gear. ARB is definitely more well known. Looking forward to ordering their OME lift.

Thanks much for your sharing of own experience with ARB. I seems lean to the expedition one which is dang manly sexy / military feel while ARB is more muscle/ aggressive with higher clearance
Anyway, both are best so far

In a perfect world I would get the OEM bull bar that is available in Australia. That is, if I could somehow get my hands on one. Great looking. Tested by Toyota and guaranteed to work with all sensors and be airbag safe.

Attached is another great option for light / medium trail “hunters” for most people. I can see some pros /cons here:

• Low cost. Minimalist. Less dead weight / better fuel consumption. Maintain the OEM look. No bumper cuts / modifications. Had bar to attach the additional head lights. Urban friendly / everyday drive. Can be taken off in future. No permanent commitment.
• Minimum protection. No winch mount. No tow hood.

I am still in love with the 2 best combo bumper/ brush guards mentioned earlier. However, this option is on my table now
