I apologize for making another thread about this but I have had my LC for 3 weeks and just got the squeal this morning. I can't find any info on doing this but I am not messing around. Ordered Powerstop Z36 pads and will install them this weekend. For $70 it is worth a shot knowing the dealers can't do anything until a TSB is released. I have used these pads in the past on my 4runner and like them anyway so I am not out much. Will report back with results.

Ok I got the new pads installed as well as performed the bedding procedure. Right away the squeal is gone. That tells me it was the pads, but time will tell. I will update this thread as time goes by to see if this is a viable solution. Either way its a win cause the factory pads created sooo much dust. These will be way better based on prior experience with this pad.

I am a newb here, in fact this is my first post after my intro. I saw 17 page post on squealing and wanted to comment on a shorter post. I am a retired fleet mechanic/manager and we had the same issue on a Lexus IS when we bought the car, it was the pads because the F sport used aggressive metallic pads, went with ceramic and been good since 2014. In the case of the very heavy LC and looking at the pads in the pic, that looks like the metallic ones, between that and the content of the rotors they get a film of rust after any moisture content which is fairly common and contributes to squeal. Hope this will be helpful.

Toyota really needs to fix this. Mine squeal loudly every morning when I back out of my driveway. It is annoying an embarrassing.
