Thoughts on PPF for ‘24 LC?

Getting some on mine Tuesday, will be my first time. Figure I invested in a solid car that’s meant to last a long time why not spend a little more to keep it pristine externally during that timeframe. Isn’t the most “fun” use of money as Id rather get new wheels and tires, but again think it’s a good investment.

Appreciate feedback here on PPF or ceramic esp opines about brands like 3M vs others preferred .
Xpel or Suntek. Run away from everything else.
a complete wrap or just the bra and mirror option. I'm doing Expel as well, but am undecided on wrapping the entire vehicle.
Im just doing bra and mirrors, whole car would be nice but pretty expensive in San Diego (almost $5k for entire car)

Not much of a difference in VA. $1300 for the bra option. Roughly 5K full coverage.
This is my first time doing tint and ppf.. I read a Reddit forum about different options for “higher end” shops and ended up reaching out to - elite finishes, one on one, and Mr tint.
Elite finishes was most expensive and we’re using a tint and ppf that was fairly new / unproven. One on one and Mr tint both use xpel, one on one was a touch more expensive but looked more legit than Mr tint, so went with them.
I have had multiple cars ranging from zero to full PPF and here is my opinion.
I would not bother with PPF on any car priced under $100K, unless it is somehow special or limited.
Consider any costs paid for PPF for your own personal enjoyment while you own the car. When you go to sell (whether it's next year or in 10 years) you will get exactly $0 more because your car has PPF.

My LC will be parked outdoors under a pecan tree, not garaged. Birds, leaves, pecans will make a mess of things. I hate to wax a vehicle more than once a year. Does PPF make sense given that situation? I also visit Big Bend National Park and that area at least once a year and there are lots of devil bushes that leave a mark. Seems like PPF could be a good way to help reduce the damage from those things? Not sure it is worth $5K+ for the whole vehicle, but it seems like having the front clip and roof done would be a good idea. Any thoughts? Thanks!
Ppf will definitely help with what you are asking protects the paint , but unless you wax or ceramic coat the ppf it will still stain the ppf , leave spots and just as hard to wash .

Also remember life span is not for ever depending on conditions and quality of materials and installation average life span is 6-7 years . It has to be removed before it dries ,becomes brittle to r cracks , because it won’t come off once that happens and it becomes a scrape off and repaint .

I had a M3 i was glad i did ppf on as it saved many rock chips but im not doing it on my LC. Its just not the type of car that people will mind buying used with a couple scratches or that i will mind having a couple scratches on, if that even happens. Also i’m not sure the price point warrants the expense. I will be taking good care of the paint though.
… having said that i’m doing little strips of PPF over the painted areas inside the door sills (where your feet could easily drag while getting in and out of the truck) since ive had trucks before where i wore through the paint there… got a package on stickerfab.
