just wanted to raise awareness about an issue I ran into. fuel line disconnected from the gas tank to the hard line on the body (see dealer comments attached), causing gas to leak from the tank area

luckily it was raining pretty heavy when the car failed, or the gas near the hot exhaust could have been bad

Can you post a pic of the disconnect if you snapped one?

This is never good. I am still waiting for my FE LC to come in. Landed in Portland in April. I expect Toyota will fix all of these issues, but, our time is worth a lot and if we spend too much time helping them get the bugs out of their FE, they might want to offer some form of compensation.

That same issue happened to me yesterday and was told that they are going to do a diagnostic due that I’m literally the first customer at the dealer I purchased mine to have happened.

I guess is just a waiting game to see how long it would take for mine to be fix. Not sure if you also got the same errors, but mine was saying the power steering, and the hybrid system fail.

It seems there have been 2 of these occurrences, of the fuel line disconnecting from gas tank, on this forum. To me that is significant, and something we should check and make sure ours is fastened securely.
Does anyone have a photo of what we are looking for? Where is this fuel line?
