MID Issue: Customizations Won't "Save"

Has anyone else experienced an issue with LC-FEs (or others) where you customize everything the way you want it on the Multi Information Display (gauge cluster), taking all that time to scroll through it all and select or de-select ... but then the minute you turn the LC off and back on, everything just returns the default settings? Toyota can't seriously expect people to set this thing up every time they step into the LC. Am I not correctly "saving" my settings or something?

It seems that some will take if you select the option while in PARK. Some will always come back like the front cross traffic alert. There is another area in the menu I have yet to explore, meter settings.

Does the settings icon always remain after changes? It seems like it stays forever. Toyota should have made an all in one cheat sheet/book JUST for the MID to make it easier to navigate. I just bought my LC/LC 2 days ago and I'm still struggling to get through the damn thing.

No, you can toggle through that center designation as well. You can get map, messages, and adaptive cruise that I know of.

Everytime I try, it just sends me into another menu.
