Thanks for contributing! And what is your lift?24.25" in front, and 24.50" in the back.
Dobinsons 2.5โ front and 2.75โ HD in rear. Iโm running Dirtcom tire carrier and ADGU drawers and full complement of gear. Thanks for contributing! And what is your lift?
Dobinsons has adjustable collars. You can make it pretty much want you want up to 3โ.Really hoping I'll be able to find a true suspension lift to do 1.5" in the front and about 1" in the rear. Dobinsons has a spring that should swap into the rear and handle additional load, but I've not seen any coilers that have a spring for less than 2" in front.
I know I can adjust the collar, but if I'm doing that I may as well just do a preload spacer. Would rather find the right spring to do an inch with full range of shock motion. I know adjusted preload is better than a preload spacer, it's a pretty hefty price for new coilovers for just 1"Dobinsons has adjustable collars. You can make it pretty much want you want up to 3โ.
Thatโs how coilover lifts work. They engineer the strut to handle a certain lift and you adjust the collar within those ranges. 1-2.5 or 2.5-3 in Dobinsons case.I know I can adjust the collar, but if I'm doing that I may as well just do a preload spacer. Would you mind sharing a pic of your rig so I can see what the 2 extra inches look like in comparison? My plan has been to wait a couple of years and drive on 34s and eventually go Dobinson 2โ to clear 35s. With past rigs, I have become very cognizant of only lifting the vehicle, the minimum amount to clear the tires that I want to run to avoid high COG and CV problems.Dobinsons 2.5โ front and 2.75โ HD in rear. Canโt speak for Colo Springs, but RSG in Denver is good. STAY AWAY FROM TOYTEC21-3/4โ rear and 21-1/4โ front stock with Iโm guessing 100# of platform, recovery gear, etc in back. Looking for a 2โ suspension/spring lift front and back. Looks like Icon and Dobinsons has this. Need a good and reasonable shop in Colorado Springs to install it.

Radflo's coilovers can go down to 0" lift if you want.Really hoping I'll be able to find a true suspension lift to do 1.5" in the front and about 1" in the rear.
