Katzkin?

I paid for a Katzkin upgrade when I bought the 1958 a few weeks ago. But I love the cloth seats so much that I am very hesitant to take it up to dealership to reupholster. I called the dealership and they said you can wait a few weeks and to take my time.
I don't know, with dogs and kids, the leather gives you a piece of mind but the kids fall asleep on the cloth seats much faster. The cloth seats were superb on a 7 hour road trip. Maybe I'll get a refund but not sure. Let me know if you had a similar predicament and how happy you are with the katzkins instead of the cloth seats.
I still have no regrets, I love the fit and feel of the Katzkins. Good luck with whatever you decide.

What color did you order? Iโ€™m in Austin and may be interested in your purchase

So finally going to do this on Thursday. I called my sales guy last week telling him I'm ready. He said he'll place some orders and call me next week.
He called today, Tuesday, telling me to go in right now. Like when he sold me the car and wanted to rush the process.
We setup a noon drop off time on Thursday. I will drop off the car at the dealership and pick it up from there when it's ready.
They will give me a loaner while I wait on the job. I was told it'll be ready by Friday.

I'm reluctantly letting go of the cloth seats. But after spilling a little coffee on the passenger seat today, I feel like the next coffee spill with leatherish seats won't be as concerning.

I'll let you know how I feel about the new seats after I drive the car a bit during the weekend.

I was quoted just under 2k for black leather including installation.

Dropped the car off at the dealership at 11. Picked it up 6 hours later. This katzkin deal is bad ass. It blew my mind. I did not expect this huge of an upgrade . The pictures I've seen make the leather look flat with no patterns or stitching but that is not the case. These seats are gorgeous. I'll post some photos and drop a feedback on any impact on the heated seats in a couple of days.

I am curious ...how do your heated seats feel. My 1958 was reskinned with Katskin too and I am underwhelmed with the heated seats. I am worried that their leather is either too thick or because it is not perforated, I am not getting the desired heat.
OK, reporting back on this. The heated seats work perfectly. Now, if I could just figure out why the heater blower works at less than full strength, I will be content thru the winter.
