Yeah, there is a letter in the last 6 digits. So must be temporary. It’s only been a couple days since I reserved.
Nobody asked for my advice, but if you want a specific color/trim/whatever here's my advice:
Go here: Toyota Inventory | New Toyota Inventory Search
Look for the Land Cruiser that has the trim/color combo you want without any deal breakers
Contact the dealer it's going to and see if they already have it sold or not ... if not, work out a deal
In my experience, dealers local to you are going to be more likely to sell at a reasonable (MSRP) price, and those that know they will never see you again will be less willing to be reasonable.
The dealers themselves have pretty minimal ability to pick and choose what cars they are going to get allocated. Toyota knows best. So just find the dealer getting what you want and buy it from them. Waiting until your local dealer gets the exact thing you want is a test of patience that I certainly don't want to endure, and I doubt many of you want to do that either. Unless you want a 2026.
