Howdy from Austin. Been a LC owner for a week now but I've been waiting for this moment for a long time. Loving the LC so far. Getting Ceramic Tint put on Friday and then planning on getting some K03's and a 2.5 inch lift. Considering the Wescott lift that keeps factory suspension and handling but maybe it makes sense to wait for something else to come on the market later? I'm new to all of this so would love some advice or tips. Also considering 35' KO3's but unsure whether to put them on the factory 18s or to buy new 17s. Not sure what I would do with my old wheels or how easy it is to sell if I do that. Any advice or feedback much appreciated.

if i was you i would just buy some 270 70 18 ko3 and call it a day for a year
if you buy 35s you need wider rims and a lift maybe better to wait if you got the money better to get a real lift (kings Icon Fox )
and the kids love new rims for da tacos it will sell fast
congrats hope i get one someday

Do you happen to know an Offroad shop in Austin you’d trust to go at your LC?
Preferably one you would have no fear sending your mom or wife or sister to?
I’d imagine options are better here than back in Houston.
Hidden falls was fun in my LC btw!!

Welcome! Denver guy these days but I grew up in ATX, Westwood HS 89 and UT 93. Still get down there when I can.

Welcome, and congrats! You didn't say how you plan to use your new LC, so my first question would be why lift it 2.5"? Generally, any lift is going to sacrifice suspension performance somewhere, and compared to the outgoing Tacomas and 4Runners, it's no longer needed to fit larger tires (up to 35s if you get the right wheel, i.e. ~40-45 offset). The LC is already a pretty high vehicle (except for clearance, cough!), so if you go to 35s and lift it, you're talking about it being at least 3" higher than stock. I know they make's big down in Texas, but if you have a garage, it might not fit. I went with 34s and stock suspension, and appreciate having all the suspension travel that my 4Runner didn't have; it makes a difference offroad, on-road not so much.

Have fun with it!
