Im gonna catch crap for this, but im hand calculating my MPG's per tank, using only eco mode and driving like slower than crap with 50/50 highway/ city. Im only getting about 19 mpg. Im sure you are all too. Toyota is full of crap for their ratings. I've never seen a manufacturer provide real, honest ratings.
Lots of the East coasters getting 21-23MPG are using 93, which the LC is tuned for
Us here on the West coast using 91 are getting 18-19ish... I'm going to try and find a 93 pump and run two full tanks with it, hand calculating

I’m at 2500 miles with 91 and I’ve never been below 24MPG since day one.

Just completed a road trip from SF Bay Area -> Mt St Helens and back and averaged 22.0 mpg for the trip (sticking to 5-10 mph over speed limit, mostly using cruise).
Are you two hand calculating? Or using the displayed MPG on the dash?
Display on dash is not accurate. Hand calculated is the best way to post in here honestly.
Too much trouble.
My continued pain point is the urban neighborhood/residential driving: 5-10 minute drives with stop signs/lights at every other block and speeds between 10-25mph. For a truck with so much power, it sure seems to have to work really hard to get from 0 to 15mph and then even harder to simply stay at that speed. It's like it sees a school zone sign and decides "better spool up the turbo for this!"
Shenandoah valley Virginia here. LC/PP using premium fuel for now. Getting 23 mpg indicated using eco full time. 29 mile commute, 70/30 highway/town. Rolling hills with a final climb of 6 miles on what amounts to a standard mountain in Northern VA. I’ll call it even with the coast down for the return trip. I absolutely light foot it to get up to speed but I do run with the pack at 70-75 mph on the highway (wife HATES it so there is some other inventive too). I haven’t re-set the trip odometer so my 2589 is total miles. I understand “indicated” should be said with a snicker… but it does give me a point to deviate from.

I've never owned a vehicle, Toyota or otherwise, that has ever gotten the gas mileage the onboard computer claimed. And that list includes 5 brand new Jeep Wranglers, 5 Toyota Prius, Toyota Rav4 Hybrid, Ford Fusion Hybrid, Ford Explorer, etc.
And I have tracked every one of those vehicles at every fuel-up, never missed a fuel-up...
same here. I've owned too many cars to count and have NEVER seen anything close to posted MPG numbers. Its hard to believe they get away with this tom foolery. Hand calculations are key
Mine will show a little above the hand calculated mpg but not by much. During my last tank, the LC said 21.9 while my hand calculation was 21.0 mpg (a little more city than highway miles).
Hand calculated around 19.5 mpg with 1600 miles on odometer and several road trips. My trip computer reads at times 25mpg but we all know that is wrong. I hand calculate at fill ups and pretty consistently around 19-20mpg.

I have westcott lift on order and gonna drop 285 70 18s on it soon. Im sure ill go down to 15 mpg LOL
On LC/FE trims the trip MPG is not related to the trip odometer, it is the current active time driving since you started the car. You need to reset the total average when refilling to simulate a "tank" average. This can be done on the infotainment display easily, and it keeps track of the last few values at the time of reset.
Unless you have a 1958 edition, which of course does have a tank average option
