The person just phrased it as too dim but that could be too short of distance as well. If you look at the design of the round headlight, the LED does not go in a full circle and the top of the light is flat which is what is causing the pattern mentioned above. View attachment 4239
Have you looked at the Content lately? Most “YouTard”? WOW! What a nice and compassionate person you are. Maybe if you thought before you posted you’d know that’s a real ass thing to say.
To bring this back on topic -I recently read one comment on the rectangular lights being too dim and the person leaving the auto high beams on for this reason. Can anyone who has rectangular lights speak to this? Are all 3 projectors used while low beams are on? Time for a side by side video done with the same stretch of road at night going around a few curves using the round low and high beams and the rectangular low and high beams.
I know @steveinfrisco is nearby with his FE, perhaps he and I can meet up sometime this weekend to do a comparison between the round and squared headlights.

Same problem with my FE It must be all of them and it is a problem Toyota should fix.Too dim, or not projecting far enough due to a hard cut off line to reduce blinding other drivers?
Some HID and LED projectors seem to really limit the vertical throw of low beams.
My guess is the round LC headlights are giving that W shaped shadow due to a shutter of some sort cutting off the full pattern to limit blinding others with the low beams.
I have the rectangle lights and they have a shadow at the top at night, I was wondering if the round lights were the same so Now I know that they are!!! I am coming from a Mercedes where the lights are Amazing either in low or high so now I can’t see at night . I am not used to driving at night and the day I bought it I had to drive home 2 hours and that’s when I noticed it. I guess I need to get all of my stuff done before night time other than that, I really love my LC, it’s beautiful!!Hi everyone. I have noticed a couple of shadows in my low beam. Very annoying as they are significant size The shadows dip down from the horizontal light line and dip down on the drivers side. I have the round lights. I assume that is the design to prevent blinding oncoming traffic but I haven't gotten used to them and may never. Do others here have the same low beam shadows? It is a shadow coming from each headlight and makes like two UU where they meet on drivers side. I will try and post a picture after our storm passes.
I for one disabled the auto dim feature on my 2020 4Runner. It returned to high beams too quickly being unable to notice the lights on a vehicle trailing the leading vehicle which caused the auto dim. I was getting flashed back by the trailing vehicle. Toyota should have tested this more before implementing.I recently read one comment on the rectangular lights being too dim and the person leaving the auto high beams on for this reason.
