My Rubicon had a fuse that could be moved one position over and could make the 12v port in the cargo area constantly hot or ACC powered. Does anyone know if this is a possibility for any of the USB-C ports in the LC?

Thanks,

JB

It would be very easy to add a USB-C port at the battery in the back. But the starting battery is small so you would likely be better off with using a house battery. In particular a power bank.

The existing USB C ports are only 15W.

Thanks for the info. I have an ARB awning with an integrated led strip. It doesn’t pull 15w. I was just looking for a way to run that light without caring my EcoFlow aux battery. For quick trips it’d be nice to just connect to the vehicle without ACC. I appreciate that info though.

It would be pretty easy to reroute the DVR's side/rear (3rd row) USB directly to the battery.

Bringing this thread back to life in hopes someone has an easy solution to turn one of the front or 2nd row USB C ports into always hot.
