2024 v 2025 1958

A lot of people want the Land Cruiser name and certain mountain and snow States require it to get around easily. So the dealers that have Land Cruisers in inventory don't have them for long and they bring a premium. It has been that way for many years.
The 4Runner was introduced in the USA in the 1980s because Toyota noticed most US customers didn't like paying extra for Land Cruisers. The Lexus LX also outsold the LC100/200. LC250s will only be selling at a premium in the US IMO until the new 4Runner starts hitting dealerships in the next 2-3 months. It will be interesting to see in 2025 if the GX550 sales start to close the gap with the LC.
