2024 FE left wheel squealing in specific situations

OP here. I hate to report this, but the squeal is back with a vengeance. It has recently gotten colder and damper where I live, and that seems to trigger the squeal. This morning, it was very foggy, and when I pulled out of my garage, the squeal and whatever seems to be happening was so intense that it actually seemed to mildly shake the car. I’m gonna be taking it back to the dealership for yet another check up on this. Not sure if others are having the same issue.

Sorry to hear that Heywolfie1015. Mine is still pretty bad, too. Much worse than summer. Did you end up creating a case with Toyota brand engagement?

Proud owner of a Meteor Shower 2024 FE for a few months now. Absolutely love it. However, I’ve started hearing a squeal from my left wheel in the mornings when I reverse out of my garage and turn the wheel right. It happens as I brake while reversing, and seems to only happen before the car warms up. Already took it to the dealership and they greased the back of the brake pads, but the noise came back the very next day.

Just curious if anyone has experienced anything similar? I suspect Toyota will figure it out, but these cars as are so new that it may take a while.
Mine has been doing the same thing since the day I took it home off the lot and still doing it 13,000 miles later. Dealership can't figure it out.

Out of curiosity, has anyone tried, applying the brake and pulling forward a few feet, then reversing?

To what end??? 🤔
I back into my parking space and I do not have squealing when I drive off. My assumption is that when driving forward and applying the brake, the pads self-align to the plane of the rotors which equals "no squealing" Just curious if anyone has tried driving fwd a few feet before reversing to see if it would eliminate the squeal.

I guess I will try it..

Tried this, didn’t solve it for me
